National Guard in Flint?

The highest number of killings that took place in Flint was 61 and that was in 1986. As of today there have been a total of 50 killings this year. For most people this is putting fear as an all time high emotion that is being felt. But, for one woman this fear is not enough. She is enraged and wants to see something change for Genesee County. Former state representative Vera Rison has written a letter to the governor asking that the National Guard be brought in to help Flint's police. She is unsure whether they can actually be called in, but she is willing to take the chance and at the very least ask. If her request does not go through with the governor she has decided to make her case to Washington.
