Genesee Parks Receive Grant from Charles Stewart Mott Foundation

The Charles Mott Foundation has given a grant of $1.2 million to the Genesee County Parks at a very critical time in this economic struggle. The foundation is showing how much they truly believe in these parks and their continued support is very appreciated. This week the 2010-2011 budget was approved by the Board of Commissioners with the elimination of 118 positions. This grant is a blessing to the parks community and those employed by them.
